Steps to Create Photo Show

1. Obtain digital pictures:
a. Take pictures with digital camera.
b. Take pictures with film camera and have developer put digitized pictures on CD.
c. Digitize old negatives, slides, or photos by scanning.

2. Edit digital pictures. Adjust color & lighting. Crop. Resize. Save as a copy.
a. Use photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Digital Image Suite.

3. Add animation or organize pictures into slide show:
a. Use photo editing software to add text, borders, or special effects to your pictures.
b. Use Microsoft Powerpoint to create slide show (.pps file). (If you are going to upload your slides to a website in step #4, save each slide as a separate .jpg picture.)
c. Use an HTML editing program such as Microsoft Front Page to create slide show for the web.
d. Use an animated gif program.
e. Create a flash animated movie that will run on a website.

4. Upload to website:
a. Upload to a web service that lets you store your photos. (See links)
b. Mail the website link to all your friends and family.
