About the Poet

I have a B.A. in art and psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and have completed the academic graduate work in Art Therapy at Cal State University Los Angeles. I have worked 34 years in a corporate job. In addition, I run my own businesses that include Energy Medicine Therapy (Reiki, massage, and healing) and Graphic Artistry (graphic arts, photography, and web design). I am also an attuned Reiki Master.

Experience being the best teacher, I have lived as a Christian, a Jew, and a Pagan, as both female and male, and with multiple sexual preferences. I have undergone soul retrieval and vision quest, psychotherapy and Rosen therapy. I was trained in ecstatic massage at Flesh & Spirit Community of San Francisco.

I have spent the last 7 years studying shamanism, hoodoo, druidry, metaphysics, and spirituality. I have attended many workshops by well-known shamans and energy workers such as Donna Eden, Alberto Villoldo, Michael Harner, Brant Secunda, Tom Cowan, Daniel Foor, Hunter Flournoy, Dan Newman, and Ann Riley.

I am currently in a psychic development program at Intuitive Way of Walnut Creek, an energy therapy program at HCH Hypnotherapy Institute of Lafayette, and an energy practitioner program at Emerging Soul of Sacramento. I also serve as an associate facilitator for the Flesh & Spirit Community of San Francisco. I offer a series of workshops on metaphysical and gender fluid subjects.

I currently live as a suburban hermit in Clayton California where I maintain a wild bird (and one rascally squirrel) feeding sanctuary at the side of my home.
