WANDERING ROUND THE WHEEL

I am traveling a wheel of wonder
That's scattered old beliefs asunder.
I wonder where the wheel will take me,
What all I will see,
And what I will end up to be.

My heart is rapidly pounding
And I am loosing my grounding.
It all feels very uncommon
But its the power of the Shaman
That is creating this shift in me
Of liberating my heart to be free.

The medicine of the Southern Snake
Is a bite that makes my mind wake.
The medicine of the Western Jaguar
Raises my energy higher.
The medicine of the Northern Hummingbird
Soars my soul upward.
The medicine of the Eastern Condor
Leaves behind the old me forever more.

THE MAKING OF A SHAMAN

I’m falling, free falling
Round and round I’m spinning
Spiraling into a vortex.
A big hole in the universe opens
And I fall in.
I am energizing the Inner
Empowering the Outer
And shapeshifting consciousness.
I’m moving to Parallel Universes
Of the Under, the Above, and the Side by Side.
I’m tracking in altered states
To crumble foundations
Transform beliefs
And release emotions
That have been caged for years.
I’m falling, free falling
But my wings are growing
So I can take off and fly.

DRUM CIRCLE

SHSSST shssst shssst
Smudge away the bad spirits
And rattle in the good spirits
With dried corn in gourd skins
SHSSST shssst shssst
We call the spirits from the 5 directions
And all the beasts from
The North, South, West, & East
SHSSST shssst shssst
BUMMM bom bom
Pick up the drumbeat
Pound your heart out
Pound your way to your soul
BUMMM bom bom
Skin stretched taut over wood frame
Beats a tattoo in my soul
BUMMM bom bom
Repetitive beats
With wood sticks
BUMMM bom bom
The timpani opens
The tunnel to the other world
BUMMM bom bom
Here we can commune in clouds
Or subterranean tipis
With our spirit guides
BOMMM bom bom
The same drum beat that leads us away
Must call us back.

MUNAY KI MESA

My heart can be your mesa
Drop in your weary stones of pain
And the seeds of love will grow.
Round and round we travel
On the Heart Wheel.

 

SHAMAN LOVE SONG 1

Like the Great Mother Ocean
You have swept me away
In a tidal wave.
Connect with me in the middle world
So we can fly the highways of the upper world
And the byways of the lower world.
Lets entwine our twin spirits.
Our souls shall be together
For the present
But never separate
For the rest of eternity.

Come to me in dreams or in day
I will not turn you away
But open my heart’s gateway.
Each touch of mine
Will fill you with universal life force
And your wisdom will soak into my skin.
Spoon with me under Grandmother Moon.
As we lie on Mother Earth.
Together we give ourselves to Father Sky
And open to the Universe for all of creation.

It seemed we met
Out of the blue
But I called the spirits
And they called you.
Soul light, soul bright,
Shine a light
With all your might,
So bright, so light. 

Twin flames, twin souls,
Fan the coals.
Open hearts our common goals.
So twins, soul twins. 

I hold you in my heart tightly
Where you hold me.
Our light will shine eternally
Fueled by the spirit of we. 

Soul light, shine bright,
Light up the night.
Soul bright, shine light,
Be the fuel for my flight.

 Embers glowing, embers growing
I come to you smoldering.
You fan the flames
Til' I’m smoking.

 Soul twin, soul friend
Coach, teacher, and shaman
Sing me a lullaby of love
Because blue blazes
Burn ret hot. 

You feel my heart.
You fill my heart
New Moon swells into full Moon
And a Sun rises out of the dark. 

Embers growing, embers glowing
The coals of my soul
Erupt into flames
As you teach me.
Take me to Neptune,
And tenderly heal my Chiron.
